HF Insulator

Model # 119     $45.00

45kv
3/8-24 top thread
1/2-20 bottom bolt
Delring Insulation
Aluminum caps
Brass studs on the side with 3/16th inch stainless steel screw for ring terminal connection
This is a new style of my own which, like all my stuff is super strong. 1-1/2 inch OD Delrin insulator with the power and ground connections made on the side studs. The studs have a 10-32 screw (3/16"). With this set-up you do not have to put the wire under the antenna and weaken it's support.
There is over one inch of insulation between the metal parts internally. It doesn't matter how big your antenna is, this insulator will hold it. You can tighten either end as much as you want and not strip the Delrin. When tightened, no stress is put on the Delrin. All it has to hold is the antenna weight and it can't let go until you tear the whole thing in two. It should easily carry 20 pounds or more.
It is water tight and air tight so nothing can get to the connections internally to corrode them. And internally there are 2 high pressure points of contact for each stud.  My quick disconnect, Model #203 and the fold over Model #200  will fit on top of the insulator.

HF Insulator Style 1
45kv
3/8-24 top and bottom thread
3-3/4 inches tall
Delring Insulation
Aluminum caps
Brass studs on the side with 3/16th inch stainless steel screw for ring terminal connection
Designed for use with any antenna coupler such as the SG-237, SG-231, etc.
Greatly reduces power robbing shunt capacitance at the antenna base.
Works great with mobile, portable, and base station applications.
Allows tuning lower frequencies than with typical 3/8"-24 antenna mounts.
Prevents Arcing, a leading cause of antenna coupler failure.
Made from solid Delrin.

Custom lengths can be ordered.  Just email your request or use the contact form.

The one pictured below shows an auto tuner mounted to the insulator.  The customer says that he can tune down to 3 megahertz with this set up.  Getting the tuner off of the metal and mounted vertically reduces the capacitance so it will tune lower than specs call for.   The insulator is 14 inches tall in this picture and costs $75 plus shipping.
